Our Services
Our service mix currently includes firm transportation and interruptible transportation. We offer storage contracts connected to Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line upstream of Eastern Shore. We are constantly evaluating and evolving our service offerings to deliver solutions that meet the uniqueness of each customer. We provide fair and balanced treatment for our current and potential customers.
Firm Transportation Service (FT)
- Guaranteed firm daily service up to contract-specified maximum quantity.
- Not subject to interruption or curtailment except as caused by force majeure or as otherwise provided in Eastern Shore’s FERC Gas Tariff.
- Rates are two-part: a reservation charge per dekatherm for pipeline capacity reserved and a commodity charge per dekatherm transported under this service.
Off-Peak Firm Transportation Service (OPT)
Same as Firm Transportation Service except subject to interruption for up to 90 days on an annual basis during the peak months of November through April.
Delivery Lateral Firm Transportation (DLFT)
- Firm transportation service across lateral facilities only; does not include any firm transportation service on Eastern Shore’s mainline facilities.
- Not subject to interruption or curtailment except as caused by force majeure or as otherwise provided in Eastern Shore’s FERC Gas Tariff.
- Applicable rate is a reservation charge per dekatherm for capacity reserved on the lateral pipeline.
Supply Lateral Firm Transportation (SLFT)
- Firm transportation service across supply lateral facilities for supply to Eastern Shore’s mainline facilities. This is not inclusive of firm transportation service on Eastern Shore’s mainline.
- Not subject to interruption or curtailment except as caused by force majeure or as otherwise provided in Eastern Shore’s FERC Gas Tariff.
- Rates are two-part: a reservation charge per dekatherm for pipeline capacity reserved and a commodity charge per dekatherm transported under this service.
Interruptible Transportation Service (IT)
- Low priority transportation service subject to interruption by reason of the claim of firm transportation service customers.
- Rates are one-part: a commodity charge based on 100% of Firm Transportation (FT) load factor per dekatherm transported under this service.
