Our Commitment to Safety
There is nothing more important than the safety of our team, our customers and our communities. We focus on establishing and maintaining the highest safety standards across our organization and championing the well-being of colleagues and those we serve.
Protecting people, safeguarding our communities and securing our assets are at the heart of our operating culture, and we are committed to supporting a culture that puts safety at the forefront of everything we do. Caring is a central tenet of our culture, and a safe workplace is fundamental to our success.
We work with public officials, emergency responders, customers and safety advocates to encourage best practices and to build a safety culture within our Company and our local communities.
Our commitment to ensure safety and compliance in our operations and everyday processes has consistently led to industry recognition for our efforts to improve service reliability and sustain employee, customer and community safety.
To reinforce our safety values and drive strong performance, we confirm these commitments:
- To make safety, health and wellness a top priority for our employees
- To safely and reliably deliver energy that makes the lives of our customers better
- To safeguard the well-being and best interests of our communities
- To protect our energy delivery assets for all our stakeholders
13 AGA Awards for Safety
ESNG is involved with the American Gas Association (AGA) and participates in its many initiatives to continue to improve the industry’s long standing recording of providing natural gas service safely and effectively.
ESNG routinely goes above and beyond by exceeding government regulations in safety and utilizing all “best-practice” programs rolled out by the AGA. ESNG adheres strictly to the AGA’s Commitment to Enhancing Safety, which outlines actions that AGA members are taking – beyond regulations – to continue to improve the delivery of natural gas to homes and businesses. The AGA and its members have developed and adopted the AGA Commitment to Cyber and Physical Security, demonstrating their dedication to ensuring that natural gas pipeline infrastructure remains resilient to growing and dynamic cyber and physical security threats.
Voluntary actions adopted by ESNG include implementation of the TSA Pipeline Security Guidelines and compliance with the Presidents Executive Order to improve the Nation’s Cybersecurity and application of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity
